Old Town

Where Budva Is and How We Get There?

Budva is about 22 km from Tivat Airport and 65 km from Podgorica Airport.
From Tivat Airport:
• Taxi: about $25–35, 20–30 minutes.
• Bus: about $4–6, 45–60 minutes (we need to walk to the main road to catch it).
From Podgorica Airport:
• Taxi: about $60–80, around 1.5 hours.
• Bus from Podgorica city center: about $8–12.
From Kotor:
• Bus: about $5–8, 30–40 minutes.
• Taxi: about $25–30.
Once we arrive, Budva Old Town is fully walkable. No vehicles are allowed inside the old stone streets.

Entry Tickets and Opening Hours

Walking inside Budva Old Town is completely free and open 24 hours a day.
However, some attractions require tickets.
Citadel (City Museum)
• Ticket: about $5–7 per person.
Opening Hours:
• April–June: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• July–August: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• September–October: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Climbing the Citadel walls gives us panoramic sea views and great photo spots.
St. Ivan Cathedral
• Suggested donation: $2–3.

Santa Maria in Punta
