RTM bus B1 serves Luminy, where the walk begins; check the current timetable and final return before leaving the city. The RTM 24-hour pass costs approximately US$6.03 and covers city bus, metro, and tram travel, making it useful for the connecting legs. It is not a ticket for a sightseeing boat or an airport shuttle. Carry water and food, wear shoes with reliable grip, and stay on marked paths rather than attempting shortcuts down unfamiliar rock slopes.

Check Seasonal Access Rules

Sugiton and nearby Pierres Tombées use free compulsory reservations during designated high-season periods to limit pressure on the small shoreline area. In 2026, those dates included June 20–21, every day from June 27 through August 30, and September 5–6 and 12–13.

This is a dated calendar, not a permanent rule for every summer day. Check the schedule for your own visit and distinguish access to the reserved waterfront zone from a general outing in the wider park.

Confirm the meeting point, accessibility, cancellation terms, and exact inclusions before paying. Wind and swell may affect the route, so keep another activity available in Marseille. Leave large luggage at your accommodation because the operator does not permit suitcases or large backpacks aboard.
